At San José Mineta International Airport, I have taken a leading role in rebranding efforts. Redesigning signage, promotional materials, and digital assets to establish a modern, cohesive, and welcoming identity across all platforms.
One of my most impactful projects was the airport’s 75th-anniversary campaign. I designed event logos, signage, social media content, and interactive displays for this milestone, seamlessly blending archival imagery with contemporary branding. A key highlight was the creation of Ernie the Baby Chick, a character inspired by the airport’s first commercial flight in 1949, which carried 2,550 baby chickens to San José. Ernie became the face of the campaign, featuring prominently on social media, merchandise, and interactive terminal installations. This character resonated deeply with the community, symbolizing the airport’s growth and adding a nostalgic, engaging element to the celebrations.
This campaign showcased my ability to lead complex, large-scale projects, craft compelling narratives, and foster meaningful connections with audiences.
